Preserve relationships, not just rows
The synthetic split example assigns 7 and 5 units to child batches under a 12-unit confirmation. Child quantities must sum to the confirmed parent quantity. Handling-unit assignments must identify the intended children; copying rows alone does not establish those relationships.
Partial means a specific supported action
The released reference OBD logistics profile supports partial quantities and ordered picking/goods-issue scenarios. The demo confirms 12 of 120 units. This capability is not shared by every adapter: the currently released SOAP receipt profile does not expose partial receipt. Check the matrix before preparing a test.
Carry the evidence into SAP
SAP delivery-interface documentation gives context for message actions and batch fields. Our synthetic reference subset is not a complete copy of that interface. Validate the generated XML against your target configuration and record the SAP processing result separately.
